Welcome to the Information Technology website. If you have a question related to anything related to your computer (e.g. email, account access, network access, ...) at Laurentian University, then we're here to help you!

Password Policies

We can help you with:

- email (Groupwise, Webmail and other mail systems to access LU email)

- wired and wireless network access

- Desire to Learn and WebCT

- WebAdvisor access including Datatel

- storage

- computer issues (PC or Apple)

- network, telephony and media issues

- support for many handheld OS (Blackberry, iphone, Android, Symbian (Nokia))

- media facilities

- computer labs

- software accessibility

If you are having issues or you cannot find what you are looking for, please contact the Tech Hub's Helpdesk through email at IT@laurentian.ca, by phone at

(705) 675-1151 ext 2200 or in person in the Tech Hub (was Micro Computer Centre) at the Arts Building in room A-100.

Our normal hours are:

  • Monday to Friday - 8am to 5pm
  • Saturday and Sunday - Closed
